 Heather McCarren (she/her)
  PhD   

Dr. McCarren is a licensed psychologist with over 15 years of experience. After watching students struggle with their mental health when she was a full-time professor, Dr. McCarren decided to start MindWise to improve access to mental health services and make a direct impact on people's ability to have a joyful life even when facing big stressors. She helps people experiencing disruptive thoughts and feelings navigate their lives with more clarity and purpose through evidence-based individual and group therapy. She is a leading expert in exposure therapy for social anxiety, phobias and food allergy related anxiety.  Krystn Metzger (she/her)

Krystn is a social worker and adjunct professor practicing in the field of mental health in Ohio for over 20 years. She has both extensive professional experience listening to the stories and struggles of others and living her life with a loved one suffering from serious mental illness. These unique experiences compelled her to start MindWise, where she offers both individual psychotherapy and expert consultation to families in the area of mental health treatment navigation.    LCSW, LISW-S

  Ashley is a social worker practicing in Ohio and Indiana with over 15 years of     
   experience. Most recently, she has been working in crisis intervention but also 
   has experience in home-based and school-bas
ed settings. Ashley practices
   primarily from a Solution-Focused model and incorporates tenets of both
   Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies. Ashley is a lifelong
   athlete and active outdoorsperson and feels passionate about the influence that
   our physical health has on our mental well-being. Ashley has been involved in
   several community organizations focused on helping young girls and women find
   strength and identity through physical activity. She looks forward to helping you
